The HTC Desire HD offers great location based services with both the Locations and Maps applications supported by the internal GPS antenna. Geotagging of photos and videos captured with the 8 megapixel camera is also automatically performed on the handset which boasts a large 4.3 inch touch display also.

The phone offers seamless messaging services through the unified email inbox which colour codes email messages from multiple email accounts, from GMail to AOL and private accounts, all into one inbox for easy reading, and allowing you to get emails instantly to your phone. Other messaging includes both text and multimedia messaging (SMS and MMS respectively) also via a unified editor. Social networks Facebook and Twitter are also integrated for the Sense user interface which layers on top of the Android 2.1 Eclair operating system running.

The handset also features a Music application offering you an easy to use interface featuring album artwork, and allowing you to flick through your music library to find the tune you want to hear. Additionally, there is an FM stereo radio for live music and news as you go. Music can be listened to via the A2DP Bluetooth profile with a compatible wireless headset, or alternatively with standard headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack connector. Meanwhile, the Friend Stream app provides all of your contacts in one easy place, with their picture, latest email or message to you, and their latest Facebook status update too.

The HTC Desire HD is a highly Campbell handset featuring a powerful 1 GHz processor in addition to its Android operating system, allowing you to easily power multiple apps, in addition to being able to download more.
